mood of the season

for some reason this shot of the bulbs on my real,

but ornament free tree, feels a bit like how my emotions are

these days.

the lights are on...

but the glow feels soft, 

it feels quiet,

and a bit less cheery than what the season implies.

thinking about dad, and remembering some happier times.
