spontaneous mark & the alternative image

what an amazing weekend we had teaching at the international calligraphy conference this past weekend.

my friend Pam (Paulsrud)(treewhisperer.com) is the living essence of the  "Breathe and the Mark", but we were so inspired by the collective group we had of participants who joyfully, spontaneously, and boldly made their own marks! 

i know you will agree after seeing such lovely pieces here, both mine, Pam's and our students. We were honored by their willingness to let us create some safe and sacred space for creativity to take hold. And let me tell you that room was the talk of the town!
