“She is”

She is the one who’s cool hand rested on our fevered foreheads,

the warmest hugger after a tough day, the baker of cakes & cookies for all our friends,

the best doodler on little notes, the prolific painter filling the walls,

the prettiest mom at the party, the best friend on the other end of the phone,

the cheeriest chuckle in the background (even when you’ve told the same story for the umpteenth time),

the loveliest lady in hats, the consistent burner of buns and grilled cheese sandwiches,

the sunshine in our day, the pray-er of novena’s said for one and all,

the constant giver, the quiet one in the background,

and the one who always delivers unconditional love.

Yep, she is “MaryAnn”, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Friend, Aunt, Cousin, Niece

…and truly the heart of the Barrett house!!  And, we’re celebrating 75 years of being blessed with her in our lives!!

To show her how much she means to us we are creating a little book for her.
